Open talk with writer Maria Francisca Gama

UCP4SUCCESS is holding an open talk with writer Maria Francisca Gama, on Católica’s 4 campuses.

This activity is part of the Culture initiative of UCP4SUCCESS and aims to promote students’ integral development through the sharing of aesthetic and cultural experiences, while also contributing to their academic and social integration.

Maria Francisca Gama is a young writer who, in 2024, joined the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Arts category. She is the author of “A Profeta” (2022), “A Cicatriz” (2024) - named Book of the Year 2024 in the Lusophone Fiction category of the Bertrand Awards - and “Filha da Louca” (2025).

The meeting will be an open talk with the author, including challenges and short reading and writing exercises, in an informal setting of sharing and dialogue. Starting from her personal and creative journey, it will explore topics such as the writing process, creative blocks, memorable books, personal journeys and what it means to make a living from writing.

This will be a space for meeting, reflection and creativity, ideal for anyone who enjoys reading, writing or simply listening to and talking about stories and creative processes.
