UCP4SUCCESS Webinar: How Can We Promote Active Learning Amongst First-Year Undergraduate Students?

UCP4SUCCESS has launched a new Webinar Series, especially for lecturers who teach in the first year of Bachelor’s degrees.

The theme of the first session is “How can we promote active learning amongst first-year undergraduate students? Strategies for a Promising Start”, and it takes place on 11 December, from 2 pm to 3 pm.

In this webinar, Rita Tavares, from CLIL | Católica Learning Innovation Lab, will address the concept of Active Learning on a continuum and what it implies for students, helping lecturers to enhance learning success in students’ academic lives.

The session will also examine the characteristics of the “ideal student” and present strategies for a promising start, with a focus on teaching practices that foster success from the very first steps in Higher Education.
