Católica Launches Scholarships for First-Year Students with the Greatest Academic Progress

Applications are now open for Merit Scholarships for students enrolled in the 1st year for the first time under UCP4SUCCESS.

This initiative aims to recognise and reward the effort and academic progress of students enrolled in the 1st year, for the first time, through the general admission regime, in Bachelor’s and Integrated Master’s degrees at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, who have passed at least 30 ECTS in the curricular units of the semester in question and who have not taken resit or grade improvement exams.

In recognition of the journey throughout the 2024/2025 academic year, the scholarships will be awarded on the basis of two criteria: academic merit, assessed by the difference between the entry grade at UCP and the final average for the semester for which the student is applying (70%), and the student’s socio-economic status (30%).

Applications for the UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships take place in two separate periods: the first, for results achieved in the 1st semester, runs until 23 June 2025; the second, for the 2nd semester, runs from 17 June to 31 July 2025.
